Bob & Pat Mecado - Chaplains

They each led a life of crime, violence, and self-destruction. A personal life encounter with Jesus Christ ended all that. Over 25 years since then, they have been led to boldly reach out to addicts, abandoned and abused children, alcoholics, and prison inmates.

Chaplains Bob & Pat Mecado work throughout the Los Angeles Sheriff's facilities, California Department of Corrections, Los Angeles Probation Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Children's Services. They also work in correctional facilities for adults and children throughout other parts of the United States.

They write to thousands of men, women and children behind institutional walls.
